Our Services in Detail
Computer and Electronics Equipment
Computer and electronics equipment can be broken down into raw recyclable materials which include copper, aluminum, tin, steel, or any non-ferrous bearing material. We also concentrate any precious or rare earth metals as well. All of these materials are disassembled and placed in like categories, shredded or milled down to be refined/melted and turned into new goods. This material is truly zero waste recycling and keeps this metal out of the environment and landfills. All glass and plastics are ground into powders and sent to respective domestic recycling companies that specialize in these materials.
Extraction Services
WreckTech perfroms extraction services for chemical manufacturing and plating companies that rely on our expertise in chemical analysis and refining services. We are one of the few precious metal refineries in the U.S. that offers recycling services for metal containing chemical catalyst. Our furnaces come equipped with bag houses, so all dust is captured and recycled.
Decommissioning
WreckTech can also handle full decommissioning services. We understand that data centers are complicated, purpose-built mission mission-critical facilities and can’t just be “demolished”. We prefer to use the term reverse engineering when taking old data centers out and returning the space to a usable shell for lease or resale purposes. WreckTech has 30 years of experience in dealing with raised floor environments. We have removed halon and FM 22 systems, Liebert CRAC units, UPS systems, gensets, switch gear, and all infrastructure that needs to be removed. From the racks to the floor and everything in between, WreckTech can handle it. We have decommissioned for EDS, Computer Sciences Corporation, Verizon, AT&T, Google, and many more.
